U.S. Government Uses Al-Qaeda To Attack Iran

NOW SUBVERTING A GOVERNMENT NEAR YOU!

Headline: Bush authorizes group formerly headed by alleged 9/11 mastermind (Khalid Sheik Mohammed, or KSM) to be bankrolled & armed by CIA for covert regime change.
The news here is that now they're openly admitting a genre of operations they've been doing for over 50 years. A cruel irony exists whereby anyone and everyone who opposes military occupation is smeared as an Al-Qaeda terrorist and yet the only real Al-Qaeda terrorists are being bankrolled, armed and directed by the CIA itself, with Bush's explicit approval.
In reality, Al-Qaeda only exists within intelligence circles coordinated by the highest echelons of the U.S. government, and is being used yet again as a tool for destabilization in nations targeted for regime change by the Neocons. The plan is to force them to fight us, and then to destroy them. This is the strategy of the dirt bags who deliberately created every serious menace we face. War is a government program. Smedley Butler wrote a book about how this works. Whenever the Neocons' approval ratings slide, we get another fake Al Qaeda video, or another Intelligence Agency-funded clown in the circus like "Azzam the American". You ask, "which intelligence agency"? Read the article! It's amazing what you can glean from history.

"ISOG (the Iran-Syria Policy and Operations Group) had also been providing undercover assistance to Iranian opposition groups and dissidents. The group's propaganda ploy consisted in feeding disinformation into the news chain and "building international outrage toward Iran". (Boston Globe 2, January 2007) So... for any of my dear readers who still believe that crap about Ahmadinejad saying he wanted to "wipe Israel off the map", it's time to wake up and smell the phosphorus.

Here is a perfect example of why Faux News is dangerous to your mental health (oh, sorry... is that "Fox News"? Is Hannity an idiot or just a well-paid shill for the Neocons? Well... either way, he's STUPID! (I will not now discuss the finer points of difference between stupidity and idiocy.) He and O'Reilly must be having a "most assinine talking head" contest. The astute observer will note that they NEVER discuss the science or the physical evidence which supports the "MIHOP" (made it happen on purpose) conclusion. O'Reilly is the Father Coughlin of the 21st Century. I'll admit he's an expert at what he does, but I have more respect for a dung-eating dog. (And I respect Giuliani even less.)

The Neocons are using Machiavelli's methods. Meanwhile, here is the pablum spoon-fed to us by Rupert Murdoch's Ministry of Disinformation.

...and here is what's really going on, without the "spin":

Recent revelations illustrating the fact that the U.S. government is using a Sunni Al-Qaeda terrorist group formerly headed by the alleged mastermind of 9/11 to carry out bombings in Iran undermines the entire war on terror as a monumental hoax that is being exploited purely to realize a geopolitical agenda.

"President George W Bush has given the CIA approval to launch covert "black" operations to achieve regime change in Iran, intelligence sources have revealed. Mr Bush has signed an official document endorsing CIA plans for a propaganda and disinformation campaign intended to destabilise, and eventually topple, the theocratic rule of the mullahs."
"The CIA is giving arms-length support, supplying money and weapons, to an Iranian militant group, Jundullah, which has conducted raids into Iran from bases in Pakistan," the London Telegraph reported yesterday.

Jundullah is a Sunni Al-Qaeda offshoot organization that was formerly headed by alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. Even if you believe the official story of 9/11 to the letter, the fact that Bush has personally authorized U.S. support for this group completely dismantles the facade of the war on terror.

The group has been blamed for a number of bombings inside Iran aimed at destabilizing Ahmadinejad's government and is also active in Pakistan, having been fingered for its involvement in attacks on police stations and car bombings at the Pakistan-US Cultural Center in 2004.

The U.S. government is arming and directing a Sunni Al-Qaeda group to carry out bombings in Iran and yet Bush has the temerity to grandstand during his Rose Garden speech last week and wave the Al-Qaeda bogeyman to strike the fear of God into American citizens.

"As to al Qaeda in Iraq, al Qaeda is going to fight us wherever we are. That's their strategy. Their strategy is to drive us out of the Middle East. They have made it abundantly clear what they want. They want to establish a caliphate. They want to spread their ideology. They want safe haven from which to launch attacks. They're willing to kill the innocent to achieve their objectives, and they will fight us. And the fundamental question is, will we fight them? I have made the decision to do so. I believe that the best way to protect us in this war on terror is to fight them," Bush said on Thursday.
(I am at a loss for words to describe the mendacity and hubris of this two-faced lying chimp. Of course they will fight us! We leave them no choice! That has been the Neocon strategy from the beginning.)

Arms cache belonging to Jundullah - the Sunni Al-Qaeda terrorist group being funded by the CIA with President Bush's approval.

Bush's definition of fighting Al-Qaeda is apparently to lend them all the funds, weapons and tactical know how they need to carry out attacks against innocent civilians in Iran, and let us not forget that America's allies the British have also been caught training insurgents in Iraq to carry out hi-tech bombings that are later blamed on Iran - just as the SAS worked with U.S. special forces to train the KLA in Kosovo, which was also an Al-Qaeda chapter having been financed directly by Bin Laden himself.

But in the world of newspeak and the lowest common denominator propaganda that cloaks the real agenda of the "war on terror", anyone who rises up against occupation, be it a kid who throws a rock in Baghdad or a car bombing on behalf of an increasingly Shiite-led insurgency, the natural enemies of the Sunni "Al-Qaeda," are terrorists and are Al-Qaeda members.

A cruel irony exists whereby anyone and everyone who opposes military occupation is smeared as an Al-Qaeda terrorist and yet the only real Al-Qaeda terrorists are being bankrolled, armed and directed by the CIA itself, with Bush's explicit approval.

Since President Bush didn't know the difference between Sunni & Shiite Muslims until two months before the invasion of Iraq and the incoming chairman of a congressional intelligence committee said Al Qaeda prominently came from the Shia branch of Islam, we can't hold out much hope for Joe Public and this is why the simplest propaganda is always the most effective.

They're the bad guys, we're the good guys - black and white with no shades of gray.

In reality, Al-Qaeda only exists within intelligence circles coordinated by the highest echelons of the U.S. government, and is being used yet again as a tool for destabilization in nations targeted for regime change by the Neo-Cons.

Jundullah is not the only anti-Iranian terror group that US government has been accused of funding in an attempt to pressure the Iranian government.

Multiple credible individuals including US intelligence whistleblowers and former military personnel have asserted that the government is conducting covert military operations inside Iran using guerilla groups to carry out attacks on Iranian Revolution Guard units.

It is widely suspected that the well known right-wing terrorist organization known as Mujahedeen-e Khalq (MEK), once run by Saddam Hussein's dreaded intelligence services, is now working exclusively for the CIA's Directorate of Operations and carrying out remote bombings in Iran of the sort that the Bush administration condemns on a daily basis inside Iraq.

After a bombing inside Iran in March, the London Telegraph also reported on how a high ranking CIA official has blown the whistle on the fact that America is secretly funding terrorist groups in Iran in an attempt to pile pressure on the Islamic regime to give up its nuclear program.

(Interpretation: The REAL terrorists (the Neocons and their global cabal of corporate fascists) are hell-bent on establishing global hegemonic control over energy and its uses. Preventing Iran from developing nuclear power from its rich uranium deposits and selling cheap energy on the global market is a top priority for these thugs who are using refined variations of tactics formerly used by de Beers to control the world diamond market. By attacking Iraq they have reduced world oil supply by 2 million barrels a day, and established an artificial floor under the price of crude oil. On the eve of 9/11 these criminals were on the brink of being indicted over the $1 trillion missing from the Pentagon [now approaching $4 trillion] and Dick Cheney's Halliburton has reaped additional untold billions on no-bid contracts in Iraq. This is their plan for the world. They control us by using FEAR. And of course it also helps their agenda when we are stupid. There can never be peace as long as these NWO scum reap profits by promoting wars and rumors of wars. WAR IS A RACKET.)

"...the U.S. "has no strategic interest" in a united Iraq, an agenda to maintain division and ethnic tension in Iraq can be seen as a long term plan and the only way to finally capture and enslave a country that has historically thrown out its occupiers on every occasion." _former U.S. envoy to the United Nations John Bolton
More time in Iraq = more billions for the Cheney's Halliburton and the rest of the military industrial complex. They broke Iraq on purpose and have no intention of fixing it.

Don't expect any help from any Republican candidate except RON PAUL. The rest are delusional.

Oh, and lest we forget that heinous crime and deception which is still being used as an excuse to slaughter the innocent, here's proof that 9/11 was an "INSIDE JOB"!!!

They Thought They Were Free

The Germans, 1933-1945
Milton Mayer

But Then It Was Too Late

Exerpt:
"What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, little by little, to being governed by surprise; to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if the people could not understand it, it could not be released because of national security. And their sense of identification with Hitler, their trust in him, made it easier to widen this gap and reassured those who would otherwise have worried about it.

"...Those," I said, "are the words of my friend the baker. ‘One had no time to think. There was so much going on.’"

"Your friend the baker was right," said my colleague. "The dictatorship, and the whole process of its coming into being, was above all diverting. It provided an excuse not to think for people who did not want to think anyway. I do not speak of your ‘little men,’ your baker and so on; I speak of my colleagues and myself, learned men, mind you. Most of us did not want to think about fundamental things and never had. There was no need to. Nazism gave us some dreadful, fundamental things to think about—we were decent people—and kept us so busy with continuous changes and ‘crises’ and so fascinated, yes, fascinated, by the machinations of the ‘national enemies,’ without and within, that we had no time to think about these dreadful things that were growing, little by little, all around us. Unconsciously, I suppose, we were grateful. Who wants to think?

"To live in this process is absolutely not to be able to notice it—please try to believe me—unless one has a much greater degree of political awareness, acuity, than most of us had ever had occasion to develop. Each step was so small, so inconsequential, so well explained or, on occasion, ‘regretted,’ that, unless one were detached from the whole process from the beginning, unless one understood what the whole thing was in principle, what all these ‘little measures’ that no ‘patriotic German’ could resent must some day lead to, one no more saw it developing from day to day than a farmer in his field sees the corn growing. One day it is over his head."

The way things are shaping up, it may be that the only way out of this "corn field" will be up. If you're familiar with the Book (the big black one), you catch my drift. There's a bad "storm" coming, and it's coming fast.

Dumb and Dumber

If you've been thinking there's something Machiavellian about the Neo-"conservatives" and their policies, you're definitely on the right track. Michael Ledeen* is an adviser to the Neocons, and Ron Paul understands the extreme danger these people represent to the world. (click link at left to read online and/or save your own pdf, or click here to download the pdf file of Congressman Paul's 2003 speech before the House of Representatives. This man has brains, character, and courage.)
*Michael Ledeen has written several books promoting the methods and philosophy of Machiavelli . He advises the Neocons on how to apply these diabolical ideas in government. The road to hell is paved with these ideas. __________________________________

How Can Bush Bring Freedom and Democracy to Iraq When He Brings Tyranny to America?
by Paul Craig Roberts

[[To understand the answer to this question, you must understand Machiavelli and Orwell. Hint: it was never about bringing freedom and democracy to anybody! It was about creating a mess and using problem/reaction/solution to achieve the goal of global tyranny under the Antichrist.]]

The Washington, DC, think-tank, The American Enterprise Institute, camouflages its purpose with its name. Its real name should be The Center for Middle East War.

AEI has the largest collection of warmongers in America. AEI "scholars" have agitated for war in the Middle East for years. A moronic president and 9/11 gave them their opportunity. Now that the US invasions and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan have failed, the AEI warmongers are conspiring with Vice President Cheney to foment war with Iran.

Writing in The Washington Note, Steven C. Clemons reports that Cheney is working with the AEI warmongers to short-circuit the efforts of Bush’s secretaries of defense and state to find a diplomatic solution. Clemons reports that one former high-level national security official describes the Cheney-AEI conspiracy as possibly an act of "criminal insubordination" against President Bush.

Now that the Democrats have betrayed their mandate of last November to end Bush’s war against Iraq and given Bush carte blanche to continue the gratuitous bloodshed, the neoconservative plan, spearheaded by Vice President Cheney, to initiate aggression against Iran is back on the front burner.

Disinformation is being fed to the media that Iran is responsible for attacks on US troops in Iraq. This disinformation is routinely reported without skepticism by the American media in the face of challenges from experts. For example, a recent British report concludes: "few independent analysts believe Tehran is playing a decisive role in the sectarian warfare and insurgency."

While the Cheney/AEI conspirators strive to whip up American anger at Iran with lies and disinformation, they are doing everything possible to provoke Iran. The warmongers have planted the story in the media that the US is conducting covert operations against Iran. The US Navy is conducting "exercises" off Iran’s coast. The US military in Iraq has violated diplomatic privilege and kidnapped Iranian officials in Iraq despite protests from the Iraqi and Iranian governments. The US government is stirring up more trouble in Lebanon by setting extremists Sunnis against Iran’s Hezbollah ally. In short, the US government is doing everything possible to start a war with Iran. Bombing Iran, perhaps after a contrived "false flag" operation, is the next step.

Bush continues to tell his favorite lies that he is bringing "freedom and democracy to Iraq" and that Muslims hate us because of our "freedom and democracy." He continues to make these inane assertions even as he ignores the will of the American people and destroys habeas corpus, the foundation of civil liberty.

Bush ignores the will of the people as expressed in last November’s congressional elections and as expressed in opinion polls. The New York Times/CBS News poll released May 24 shows another sharp drop in public support for Bush and his war. America is "seriously off on the wrong track" was the response of 72 percent of the public.

President Bush, the Republican Party, and the Democratic Party have proved to the entire world that the American people have no voice. The American people have no more ability to affect their government’s policy than inmates in a gulag would have.

What do people in other countries think when they hear Bush prattle on about "freedom and democracy" while he ignores opinion polls and election results and detains people without warrants, tortures them, and puts them before military tribunals in which they are denied even knowing the evidence against them? Bush has contrived a situation for defendants in which no defense is possible. In Bush’s America, people can be executed on the basis of hearsay and secret evidence. If this is "freedom and democracy," what is tyranny?

Recent polls show that the majority of the American people are no longer fooled, no matter what politicians say and media report. The election last November demonstrated the electorate’s lack of support for continuing the war.

The problem is in implementing the will of the people. Democrats in Congress are not only recipients of AIPAC, oil industry, and military-security complex payoffs just as the Republicans are, Democrats are also behaving very cynically. They believe that it is Bush’s policy that gave them control of Congress in November and that by continuing to let Bush prevail, they will clean up on a larger scale in 2008. They believe that their antiwar base has nowhere else to go.

Their cynical logic is probably correct as far as it goes. Bush is being blamed for the war and its failure. The longer this goes on, the worse the situation for the Republicans. Prior to Bush’s invasion of Iraq, I wrote in a column that the unintended consequences of an invasion would be the destruction of Bush, the Republican Party, and the conservative movement. It has taken longer than I thought, largely because of Americans’ blind desire for revenge for 9/11, but the prediction is on track.

The problem with the Democrats’ cynical logic is that allowing Bush to prolong the war in Iraq increases the chances that Cheney, Israel, and the neoconservatives can contrive a war with Iran. Most experts, and many in our own military, think that a war with Iran would go very badly for us, endangering our troops in Iraq by exposing them to more intense attacks from the more numerous Shiites, who would be armed with Iranian weapons that can neutralize our tanks and helicopters, leaving our fragmented and divided troops isolated and cut off from supplies and retreat routes.

The pending disaster would play into Cheney’s hands. With America faced with the loss of an army, Cheney and the neoconservatives would likely succeed in convincing Bush to nuke Iran. Cheney and Rumsfeld have already changed US war doctrine to permit preemptive nuclear attack against non-nuclear powers. Surprised by the inability of the US military to prevail in Iraq and by Israel’s military failure against Hezbollah, the neocons concluded that the only way to establish US/Israeli hegemony over the entire Middle East is to nuke Iran. The neocons believe that using nuclear weapons against Iran will demonstrate to the Muslim world that they have no alternative but to submit to US hegemony.

Note from your host: (Submission by the Muslims is not an option. Very credible sources have said that some elements within the Iranian government WANT war with the U.S. [my theory is that these elements might be Saudi "moles".] The reason is that it is understood that although Iran lacks the wherewithal to defeat the U.S. militarily, a nuclear attack by the U.S. on Iran would result in the wrath of 1 billion Muslims being unleashed against the United States, and America as we know it would cease to exist. Cheney is a madman, and needs to be GONE... yesterday !!!)

The Democrats are far from being alone in lacking the vision to see the abyss into which their cynicism is leading us. With the corporate media serving as propaganda ministry for the administration, Cheney will be able to whip up enough fear and anger to convince the American people that the use of nuclear weapons was imperative.

Bush’s popularity will return as he prevails over the enemy and tells Americans how he saved them from Iran’s nuclear weapons. The Democrats’ cynicism will have destroyed them and opened new avenues to destruction and violence.

Ron Paul for President!

Ron Paul On The Record

Will Republicans Destroy Themselves Before They Destroy America?
by Paul Craig Roberts

As everyone except for a dwindling band of Bush supporters now knows, the US is in a terrible situation in Iraq from which it cannot extract itself. For Bush and Cheney, their own pride and delusion are more compelling than US casualties, the destruction of Iraq and its people, and the inflaming of sectarian strife and anti-American violence throughout the Middle East.

Congress is complicit in the great strategic blunder. Republican flag-wavers led Americans like lemmings into the abyss. The Democrats have already abandoned the electorate that gave them Control of Congress six months ago in the false hope that the Democrats would corral the White House Moron and lead America out of the abyss.

Like the Republicans, the Democrats serve the few special-interest groups that benefit, or believe that they benefit, from the war. By now we all know who these groups are: the oil industry, the military-security complex, and the Israel Lobby, AIPAC. This contrived war, based on lies and deception, serves no other interest.

There is no longer any question whatsoever, not a single sliver of doubt, that Americans were deceived into this disastrous war. The President of the United States lied to the American people, as did the Vice President, the National Security Advisor, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, the Deputy Secretary of Defense, the Undersecretary of Defense, as did every neoconservative in the Bush administration, think tanks, and media.

The fact that the American people were lied to and deceived does not absolve them from blame. The lie was transparent, the logic nonexistent, the true facts available and easy to discover.

America failed, because the American people failed. The American people failed, because their self-righteousness and their hubris made them easy saps for deception.

Even now after five years of a disastrous policy, Republicans cannot accept the facts about the US invasion and failed occupation of Iraq. At the recent "debate" between Republican presidential candidates in South Carolina, US Representative Ron Paul dared to tell the truth. Rep. Paul said that our difficulties in the Middle East are "blowback" from our government’s determined attempts to exercise hegemony over the Middle East.

Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani, a person who sunk so low as to frame innocents while serving as US Attorney in order to boost his name recognition, played the self-righteous card to extreme. How dare Ron Paul suggest that US policy toward Muslims has anything whatsoever to do with attacks on the US! With all the outrage he could muster, Giuliani asked Rep. Paul "to withdraw that comment and tell us that he didn’t really mean that."

The thunderous applause from the Republican audience to Giuliani’s put-down of the only honest person present underlines that the Republican Party is incapable of leadership to end a futile and lost war that under international standards is a war crime, an unprovoked naked aggression based entirely on lies, deception and a secret agenda.

But lies and deception are nothing new for Rudy Giuliani. Indeed, he has built his career and fame on lies and deception. It is a damning indication of the collapse of American law that an assistant US attorney (Rudy Giuliani) can be well received when he brags to law school students that federal prosecutors frame Americans with novel interpretations that create ex post facto law and violate mens rea—no crime without intent—the foundation of the Anglo-American legal system.

At other times, the Republican audience applauded in support of torture and greeted John McCain’s protest against the practice with cold silence.

In the opening years of the 21st century the Republicans have made it clear that they are willing to sacrifice the US Constitution and Bill of Rights in order to wage "war against terrorism." This willingness makes the Republican Party a more dangerous threat to Americans than Muslim terrorists. Muslim terrorists cannot destroy our country’s reputation, trash our civil liberties and wreck our system of accountable government, but the Republican Party has done a thorough job of it.

The Democratic Party is complicit in the Republican Party’s crimes, but unlike the Republican electorate, the Democratic electorate does not support the occupation, the domestic police state measures, and the Bush administration’s decision to send more combat troops to Iraq. Although none of the current frontrunners for the Democratic presidential nomination are independent of the special interests that benefit from the war, it might still be possible for a Democrat to emerge who will represent the Democratic electorate instead of the special interests.

Republican support for Bush’s contrived war against Iraq has diminished the Republican Party. Intelligent and decent people have abandoned the party, which has morphed into a Brownshirt Party with which fewer people are willing to be associated. The diminished Republican ranks will make it difficult for the party to steal any more elections.

If we are fortunate, Republicans will complete their self-destruction before they extinguish the Constitution and destroy America.

I am ashamed to admit that I’ve been watching Ron Paul’s recent political acts with fingers and toes crossed, breathless.

Seeing Ron Paul educate Wolf Blitzer earlier this week, after his astoundingly fantastic performance in the second Republican debate, makes me sorry I had lost my faith in the power of truth, the power of courage. I’m sorry that I didn’t believe in possibility that a serious person in the American political arena would commit that most radical act of speaking truth to power.

And in doing it, not only survive, but thrive!

A famous Orwell quote captures what is happening. "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." And while many have been working to prepare ground for truth and freedom in this country, I think we will note that the first shots in this revolution have been fired by Ron Paul.

Orwell had glimpsed what would become the modern political state, globally engaged in endless wars, fighting shadowy enemies who constantly change, because they never really mattered anyway. What mattered, and what still matters, is war, with its handmaidens Fear and Public Amnesia. Without fear and amnesia, holding on to domestic political power in the American neoconservative oligarchy becomes risky, uncertain.

Ron Paul is speaking truth to the whole world, with patience and patriotism flowing in equally generous portions. Like the young David, he is received by the dogs of war with sneers, self-important snarling, threatening stares. Like David, he seems almost unarmed and even unprepared for the great battle to come. But like David, he is unafraid. Like David, he understands what he believes in and knows it to be consistent with all that is good and just.

On the other hand, his political opponents, in both parties, do not truly believe in what they are saying. The neoconservative evangelical Republican Party seeks the 2008 presidency and the neoconservative socialist Democratic Party seeks the 2008 presidency. It isn’t because they believe in something – instead, they seek to access domestic power and maintain the status quo – an enriching and profitable status quo for people and organizations in power, I might add.

I’m not just saying this because I am excited about Ron Paul’s candidacy and the possibility of his presidency. Recall if you will, the first Republican debate, when the candidates were asked about National ID cards. Some of the other candidates began to respond, clonelike, each confusing the national ID card with some vague undeveloped ideas they have about security for the country. Their reptilian brains were drumming "Security, Security, Must Look Good on Security."

Then Ron Paul gets to answer the national ID card question. It is unnecessary and would have little to nothing to offer in terms of national security. Oh, and then he firmly rejected it. Like a real man!

Immediately, the candidates – even some who had already spoken, rushed and stumbled to agree or at a minimum, move toward the Ron Paul position. I recall Guiliani saying something like he would only have a national ID card for aliens. Huh? My mother says if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. Let me then say this: Rudy Guiliani has the biggest reptilian brain of all the candidates.
(The reptile brain has a singular focus: survival. It doesn't think in abstract terms, and doesn't feel complex emotions. Instead, it's responsible for fight-or-flight, hunger and fear, attack or run. It's also non-verbal - you can stimulate it with the right words, but it operates purely at the level of visceral stimulus-response.)

Ron Paul offers real change, and a real way ahead for America that includes not just an embrace of the original constitutional outline of small government, but something we can really partake of each day – free economics, free speech, free will. Further, Ron Paul promises something that is valuable and precious to Americans who belong to a political party – any political party. Ron Paul offers a chance to share a real sense of our country as glorious and honorable, a joyful, fearless land of opportunity and of peace.

Because make no mistake, the United States has not been glorious and wonderful, and certainly not free and peaceful, for many decades.

I am excited about Ron Paul and his campaign. I have ritualistically voted since 1978, usually as a Republican, later as a libertarian, and last fall I voted for Virginia Senator Jim Webb, a Democrat. I’ll ritualistically vote for Ron Paul in 2008, if I can. But far more than that, I am pleased to be humbled by each new day of the Ron Paul campaign – to witness the raw power of ideas and debate – after such a long hiatus of ideas and debate from the American political game.

The Greek concept of happiness, eudaimonia, keeps coming to mind whenever I think of Ron Paul as President. It is about faithful and right action, not human exultation or social extremes. It is about the happy and fulfilling marriage of knowledge and virtue. It is about reality over fantasy, faith over existentialism, doing good over doing evil.

In other words, Ron Paul rocks!

REVOLT OF THE GENERALS IMMINENT?

Appearing on NBC’s Chris Matthews Show this morning, Atlanta Journal-Constitution columnist Cynthia Tucker revealed that sources within the military are warning of “a revolt from active-duty generals if September rolls around and the president is sticking with the surge into ‘08.”

Noting that retired generals such as Gen. John Batiste have already begun voicing their discontent with the president’s strategy in Iraq, Tucker added that the generals “don’t want to fall by the wayside like the generals in Vietnam did, kept pushing a war that they knew was lost.”
When President Bush vetoed the Iraq timeline legislation earlier this month, he claimed that “the measure would ‘impose impossible conditions on our commanders in combat’ by forcing them to ‘take fighting directions from politicians 6,000 miles away in Washington, DC.’”

But despite past claims that “the right force level” will be determined by “the sober judgement of our military leaders,” the Bush administration has a proven track record of disregarding the advice of military leaders. As recently as last December, when the White House was first pushing its escalation plan, the administration explicitly ignored “the unanimous disagreement of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

It appears the commanders on the ground in Iraq are getting tired of “taking fighting directions” from a politician “6,000 miles away” in the White House. And they might not stay quiet for long.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- American soldiers discovered a girls school being built north of Baghdad had become an explosives-rigged "death trap," the U.S. military said Thursday.
http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/meast/05/03/iraq.school.bomb/index.html

“The plot at the Huda Girls' school in Tarmiya was a "sophisticated and premeditated attempt to inflict massive casualties on our most innocent victims," military spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said. The military suspects the plot was the work of al Qaeda, because of its nature and sophistication, Caldwell said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

The plot was uncovered Saturday, when troopers in the Salaheddin province found detonating wire across the street from the school. They picked up the wire and followed its trail, which led to the school. Once inside, they found an explosive-filled propane tank buried beneath the floor. There were artillery shells built into the ceiling and floor, and another propane tank was found, the military said. The wire was concealed with mortar and concrete, and the propane tanks had been covered with brick and hidden underneath the floor, according to a military statement. Soldiers were able to clear the building.

"It was truly just an incredibly ugly, dirty kind of vicious killing that would have gone on here," Caldwell said.
Iraqi contractors were responsible for building the school, which was intended to bring in hundreds of girls. "Given the care and work put into emplacing this IED, it is likely it had been planned for a long time" and it is thought that "the IED was not intended to be set off until the building was occupied," the military said. Authorities intend to question the Iraqis involved in the school's construction.
This came out 10 days ago and then there was a news blackout. Whenever this s**t comes up in the media and then gets blacked out, it should send up warning flags. For those that understand the impact of demotition, this is an interesting story.

Let us look at the facts before speculating:

1) All infrastructure (schools, hospitals, roads, power plants, water sanitation, etc.) is being built with US money and an assortment of contractors.
2) The #1 contractor is a Dubai owned company who goes by the name of Halliburton and its former CEO is our Vice President Dick Cheney.

3) Halliburton sub-contracts over 90% of the work to others for pennies on the dollar.

4) US has done minimal oversight on Halliburton and almost no oversight on subcontracts (they do not even have copies of these mysterious contracts).

5) Halliburton does almost no oversight on the sub-contracts.

6) The media has jumped all over this story for a few hours about a school for Iraqi school children that has been wired to explode killing possibly hundreds of innocent Iraqi school girls (aged under 10).

7) The story says that there is an investigation into the "Iraqi contractors." (I did not know there were any Iraqi contractors as Iraqis are hardly allowed to sell fruit much less build schools without US military presence.)
8)After the peak in media attention, there has been a media blackout about this story.
9) Many intelligence officers (CIA/SAS/MI6) have been found setting up, transporting, blowing up IEDs throughout Iraq.
10) After the intelligence officers are captured by Iraqis (only reason we know about it), confrontations with US military results in their immediate release.

Concerning 8) Doesn't this demand immediate attention? CIA/SAS/MI6 (code name "Al-Qaeda") seem to be creating new tactics to stop the Iraqi government from securing the country and no longer needing Bush Co's mafia protection. Why isn't the media talking about this important shift in tactics?

Daddy don’t need no stinking exit strategy.

“The reason that we went into Iraq was to establish a permanent military base in the Gulf region....”
-- Former President Jimmy Carter, Feb. 3, 2006

“The United States maintains 737 military bases in 130 countries across the globe. … In order to secure favorable access to Iraq's vast reserves of light crude, the United States is spending billions on the construction of at least five large permanent military bases throughout that country.”
Lewis Seiler and Dan Hamburg, San Francisco Chronicle, April 30, 2007

“Charlie, we're not in the process these days of doing permanent bases anywhere.”
-- Condoleezza Rice to Charlie Rose, in a US State Department Press Release, May 7, 2007.

If perception is power, and he that controls the perception has the power…then:
Q. Who’s the Daddy?

The Big Boys and girls have been engaging us in a game of Perceptual “Peek-A-Boo!”
It keeps us guessing and amused. It’s sort of like dislodging a cell phone from the mouth of a crying toddler by singing in a high voice and replacing it with a Twinkie.

We keep taking the Twinkie! Dang.

Perception Twister #1: Exit strategy? Oh, did Daddy need an Exit Strategy? Oh, silly Daddy. Well, next time, he promises to know better. "One of the reasons we had no exit plan from Iraq is that we didn't intend to leave," said UC San Diego Professor Emeritus and ex-CIA agent Chalmers Johnson. So, really: Daddy don’t need no stinking exit strategy. But that’s too spicy for you, honey.

Oh, and by the way…? All those guys who’ve been having trouble doing their jobs lately? The ones who happen to be your employees as taxpayers? Go ahead: shake your finger at them very sternly, and yell at them, and say whatever mean thing you want to them. They will look sheepish ….even a little defensive!
But no, you can’t fire them. That’s for Daddy to decide. They “serve at his pleasure” (which is very S&M).

Alberto “Mi Abogado” Gonzales? Yep…. he lied! Call him names! But unless you actually throw sticks and stones: he’s staying. You don’t put a dog down just because it ruined every single carpet in the Hall of Justice.

Paul Wolfowitz? He’s decided to stay on, at the World Bank, despite repeated demands for his head over that indiscreet little “Oh, and My Girlfriend Gets $200K,” embezzlement-prank.
He’ll most likely be keeping the World Bank gig, thanks. He likes the kicky perks.

Oh wait, so…. is what they meant by Political Theater?

And The President? Despite the blood-curdling screams of the American people and even harsh reprimands from his own flying monkeys, he’s still tossing out vetoes right and left. It’s kind of like drunk driving, but it ultimately kills a lot more people and bankrupts the entire country.

But Paris Hilton? Well, still going to jail, so far. She needs bigger allies, obviously. She should have made a porn tape with Robert Gates; she might be vacationing in Qatar right now.

Ironically, the President is allegedly drunk again, too: “LAURA FLEES BOOZING BUSH!” screamd the Globe cover article. “The scuttlebutt is he’s back on the 80-proof,” quoth the article, reprinting gossip leaked to none other than E! gossip maven, His Majesty Ted Casablanca, “from a reliable source and confirmed by a former White House staff member who is still close to Mrs. Bush.” Apparently, when the President began slurring his words again, Laura, recognizing the mark of Devil Bourbon, fled the White House in disgust and began camping across the street at the Hay-Adams. “The President doesn’t want a divorce but won’t recognize that there is anything wrong with their marriage,” said Ted’s source. “…Laura has put up with so much.”

Best answer to the question “But Why? WHY?” came from Allan Schnaiberg, psychiatrist and Professor at the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University.

“First and foremost, George W. Bush has a ‘Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)’” wrote Schnaiberg.

“…The most disturbing aspect about narcissists… is their pathological inability to empathize with others…
…(I)s George Bush willing to risk the lives of hundreds, maybe thousands more American soldiers, on an outside chance to save his political skin, in a half-baked plan that even he knows probably won't work at all? Yes, he is. Because George Bush is that narcissistic, that desperate, and yes, that sociopathic as well…
… The insufferable "holier than thou" attitude associated with "Dry Drunk Syndrome" is indicative of underlying narcissism…
…Finally…those persons with NPD are notoriously unable to say they're sorry…. Anyone having this particular character flaw almost certainly has NPD.”

Well, I haven’t heard a “Sorry” yet. Neither has Laura, apparently, nor Iraq, nor You, the American People.
But that’s what you get for rolling with the NPD, Fiends. Malignant Narcissists may be fun to hang out with, for a while – they are the life of the party – but eventually, you’re probably going to want to hang out with someone who actually cares about you, as a citizenry, and get a few of your needs met. You just deserve so much more.

"Debunkers" are NUTS!

Should people who question the government's version of the events of 9/11 have their heads examined? Or is it the people who accept the "official version" who should have their heads examined?

Well, the following psychiatrists and psychologists have concluded that the official version of 9/11 is false. Moreover, many of these mental health experts have concluded that the government's account is so obviously false that people who believe the government's version are in psychological denial:

  1. Psychiatrist Carol S. Wolman, MD
  2. Psychiatrist E. Martin Schotz
  3. Professor of Psychology at University of New Hampshire William Woodward
  4. Professor of Psychology at University of Essex Philip Cozzolino
  5. Professor of Psychology at Goddard College Catherine Lowther
  6. Professor Emeritus of Psychology at California Institute of Integral Studies Ralph Metzner
  7. Professor of Psychology at Rhodes University Mike Earl-Taylor
  8. Retired Professor of Psychology at Oxford University Graham Harris
  9. Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nebraska and licensed Psychologist Ronald Feintech
  10. Ph.D. Clinical Neuropsychologist Richard Welser
  11. Clinical psychologist, Ed.D., Harvard University Gwendolyn Atwood,
  12. Psychology researcher, M.A., Psychology Victoria Ashley
  13. Psychotherapist, M.S. Clinical Psychology, Greg Henricks
  14. M.S. in educational psychology, Roy Holcombe
  15. M.A. in Counseling Psychology Tova Gabrielle

There are literally thousands of other mental health professionals who have reached the same conclusions. So who is out of touch with reality: those who question 9/11 or those who believe the government's version without question?

Quotes of the day:
  • "When denial is so strong, it's because people don't want to know the truth. The implications are too overwhelming, too frightening. Facing the truth about 9-11, that it was an inside job, planned and carried out with the help of the Bush family and administration, means facing the fact that we are saddled with a monster, a satanic creature, that will stop at nothing to gain total power.
  • It means facing what fools we are, what cowards we are, not to call a spade a spade.
  • It means seeing through the pious cloak of false Christianity and false patriotism that Bush has assumed.
  • It means facing the terrible danger we are in, of losing every ounce of precious freedom our forefathers fought so hard to obtain, and that we so take for granted.
  • It means looking frankly at our helplessness, our gullibility, our willingness to accept any form of hypocrisy, as long as we are allowed to go on shopping." Carol Wolman, M.D.

  • "Polarized, black-and-white thinking is the hallmark of mental illness. Bush and his carefully chosen, like-minded mob represent a huge faction of similar-minded fanatics who project their rigid, fear-based internal structures upon others within a black-and-white, good-versus-evil framework of thinking. Bradshaw writes that alcoholics don'’t have relationships, but instead “take hostages.” We citizens are expected to observe the unspoken but classic rules that protect the alcoholic head of the family: “Don’t talk, don’t think, don’t feel.”
  • Such “addictive scripts” help maintain the power and façade of alcoholics and addicts. And the amazing part is that we, as citizens, may unknowingly play our parts as enablers, just like children of alcoholics. Sadly, many of us, acting as virtual children of alcoholics, play our parts in maintaining what we hope to be some measure of stability in our systems. As loyal children in an alcoholic family, many people will rigidly deny the extent to which our “parental” powers will go to manipulate and control us with fear. The defenses we may employ in our denials arise in infancy and are only finally uprooted through therapy or through insight that is willing to upset the systems we internalized.
  • Denial is a primitive defense; children understandably don’t acknowledge the alcoholic father’s insanity—after all he’s the only father they’ve got. The Bush administration depends upon our continued fear and isolation from like-minded others to keep us bonded to it in ignorance of what it does. Inflated patriotism is but a misguided defense of a system that has the will and means to destroy us for power, just like an alcoholic parent will sacrifice all for drink. As long as we feel overwhelmed and disempowered, we won’t investigate our intuitions or connect the dots.
  • It certainly helps the agendas of those in power if we are chronically too tired, broken and scared to think, feel, and talk. Otherwise, we might find the energy to contemplate the truth, to have insights and inspirations, and to organize. The George Bushes of our country are absolutely terrified of the power of the masses.
  • We have learned to “negatively hallucinate,” that is, to not see the obvious, when it contradicts our beliefs. We have been raised and bred in institutions and families where the very persons preparing and conditioning us for the “real world” have hidden their own skeletons in our closets. Without our realizing it, their shames, secrets, and fears become our inheritances. While it is all right to hate Bush and company for being liars and idiots, we stop short of believing they could be evil and powerful enough to have actually organized and pulled off the 9/11 attacks.
  • We were hypnotized on 9/11. Some of the strategies used to bring about a hypnotic state include shock, repetition of phrases and images, and exploiting people’s sense of vulnerability so that they relinquish their previously held beliefs and endorse something formerly untenable to them. The Bush administration has employed what hypnotists refer to as a “yes set” in order to bring us under its spell:
  • The towers were hit. Yes. People died. Yes. The world is unsafe. Yes. We know who did it. Yes. We must react now. Yes. If you are not with us you are against us. Huh? The towers were hit. People died. Yes. And so on until all the answers are the desired “yes.”
  • After the shock and the deepening of our fear reactions through repetitive imagery and continuous intimidation and lies, we found ourselves in a state of disorganization and simulated ego disintegration. Consequently, we have been thinking with our reptilian brains rather than our frontal lobes, which means that we haven’t been THINKING at all. (The reptilian brain stem is only capable of fight or flight responses, not reasoned ones).
  • Opening our minds to the revelations described on this website forces us to confront our deepest, survival-based beliefs: it is almost impossible for us to accept that something so extreme could happen here.
  • Can you imagine that when Hitler was coming into power, the general public believed the rumors? Who would have taken seriously such nightmarish images as concentration camps replete with huge ovens? Who ever had heard of such a thing? The first people who were on to it were, no doubt, dubbed “conspiracy nuts” by the public (They were, interestingly, referred to by the Third Reich as “terrorists.”).
  • In time, the truth comes out. The world had to face the ugliest truth, and when it did, it said, “Never again.” But how closely now are we watching over our freedom? Are we unknowingly protecting ourselves from highly upsetting truths in order to protect our unconscious, infantile, need to believe that this is a democracy and a country devoted to our well-being
  • Our tendencies toward denial are also enhanced by the messages from the commercial world that constantly bombard us: “Don’t get excited.” “Take a pill.” “Soft, easy, quick.” We have been raised as a country of addicts brainwashed into finding a way out of feeling pain. The longer we delude ourselves and try to avoid our pain, the greater is the infection we that we create within our collective psyche.
  • The movie “The Truman Show” features a character who has been set up all his life to believe in a fake reality in which he was being tricked and used. He finally rejects this reality, choosing to enter the unknown and face possible death over living a lie. Why have we been afraid to imagine the worst when there is ample reason for suspicion? Are we afraid of the anxiety such a disruption could evoke in our minds? This is what the protagonist of “The Truman Show” had to face. Like him, we need to become willing to give up our sense of false security in order to stop living a huge lie. Otherwise, we will remain, like children of alcoholics, afraid of our feelings of powerlessness.
  • Of course it is difficult to confront our fears and insecurities. But the good news is that facing reality is the way to become empowered. Do we fear that if we discovered the worst, we might explode with anger? Or implode with despair? Who ever imagined that we’d have to worry about rigged elections? Heck, that’s one of the criteria for fascism, and we hold the true ideals of democracy close to us. The psychological weakness in our collective consciousness that has allowed George Bush to abuse his power needs to be deeply examined, in order for these dynamics to change.
  • The clarity and thoroughness of the evidence laid out on this website allows us to take the first steps toward being able to believe that the Bush administration was behind the 9/11 attacks. Change happens incrementally. Little waves of inspiration and insight feed bigger waves. The inevitable backlash against the lies of the last three years might even lead to a truth movement. We needn't be despondent; rather, we need to get even by creating this truth movement. The evidence supporting the claims of Bush’s complicity in 9/11 is available is readily available both on the internet and increasingly in hardcopy. This information is as plain as math, as concrete and physical as anything you’ve ever learned in school.
  • It becomes easier to face upsetting, painful facts once we become willing to change our beliefs. George Bush’s lies have paved the way for a new wave of believers. Thanks to the Bush mob’s relentless lies, we are being prodded to loosen the tightest of our psychological constrictions, our beliefs in what is possible.
  • Beliefs are the hardest off all psychological mechanisms to change. They are the structures upon which we have built our lives. To challenge our belief system is to threaten our ideas of who we are. Doing so can be disastrously disorienting, which is why people have been so slow to catch on—but it can also be enormously relieving and empowering.
  • When a problem seems too huge to fix, you can’t begin to change it until you change your beliefs. You need to throw out your old lenses in order to be able to perceive what you formerly couldn’t see. Then you can begin to emerge from your reptilian, survival-oriented, limited brain and begin to imagine and put together the many available puzzle pieces.
  • Einstein said that imagination is more important than knowledge. We need imagination now to counter the mindsets we inherited as a result of being raised in systems that were designed to protect power. We learned to believe that those with power over us were truly protecting us, despite their nasty habits and lies. We were trained not to see who our real enemies are.
  • But we can stop being controlled by fear now. We can utilize our healthy outrage to expose the inconsistencies in what we have been told and leave no stone unturned. Our country’s situation is not hopeless for the simple reason that we are not children and we can expose the traitors who have used political power against the people they are supposed to serve.
  • The Bush administration is not above the law. The more this administration disrespects the citizens of this country, the more pressure it creates in people to break free of it at last and consider the extent of its insanity.
  • To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The Bush administration’s continual lies are bound to generate more and more skepticism toward them and an increasing interest in the truth. We are consequently being led into a sort of “forced individuation.”
  • As our truth movement gains momentum to break free of the excuses and lies, we will see who the true “terrorists” within our own government are. We will know that the so-called “war on terrorism” is a fantasy.
  • When we break the code of silence, we will have to walk away from the government that we have allowed to morph into an instrument of corporate control. We will then either turn back to our original Constitution or go forth and find a new vision, moving, with a keen eye for truth, into uncharted territories. It will be very exciting. But we will no longer be innocent children, for we will have become aware of what can happen if we don’t carefully guard democracy, especially in this new millennium. As adults, we will have to begin by envisioning alternatives. We must begin by brainstorming a new system. No more can we allow such massive failures of our own imagination. No more “intelligence failures.” It is healthy to get mad, but use that fuel wisely: Get creative and spread the truth. We can’t heal what we can’t feel. We can’t change what we won’t even dare to imagine." Tova Gabrielle
Quote of the day: "The perfect storm is gathering. The theory that liberal values and corporate mercantilism (a construct of feudalism) can be spread across the world by force of arms... should be tested to destruction ... The president and his neoconservative court should be offered all the rope they need to hang themselves."

Ron Paul for President!!!
